Vue PDF Viewer Commercial License Agreement

This License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between you and Vue PDF Viewer. When you install or use Vue PDF Viewer software ("Software"), it means you agree to follow the terms stated in this agreement.

License Grant

Upon acquisition of the Software, you are permitted to use the Software as follows:

  • You are permitted to use the Software to create unlimited End Products for internal use or for your clients. The End Products can be licensed, sold, sub-licensed, or given out free of charge.
  • The Software may be used for creating End Products on behalf of your clients, provided those clients are not independently developing new products with the Software.

End Project

An End Product is what you create using the Software. For example:

  • If you use the Software to make a website, that website is the End Product.
  • If you use the Software icons in a mobile app and sell it, that app is also an End Product.

Grant of License

As long as you pay the required fee and agree to the terms here, you are granted a non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Software to design and build End Products.

Individual License

The Individual License grants a single Developer the authority to use the Software for End Product production. Should there be additional Developers, separate Individual Licenses must be purchased.

Organization License

An Organization License gives your entire company the right to use the Software in developing End Product. This license does not impose a cap on the number of Developers within the organization who may use the Software.

Usage Rights

Upon acquiring a license, you are granted the following rights:
  • Any original content you created will remain your intellectual property, notwithstanding Vue PDF Viewer's retention of copyright and all other intellectual properties related to the Software.
  • You may integrate the Software into any number of End Products.
  • The Software may be distributed as a component of your End Products, this eliminates the need for your users to purchase individual licenses, as long as your users do not independently develop their own End Products using the Software.
  • You must not allow the Software to be copied or extracted by an end user of the End Product and be used independently from the End Product.
  • One whole year of free update and support beginning from and inclusive of the date of purchase of the license.
However, you must not alter, erase, or conceal any copyright or trademark notifications, or any proprietary designations in the Software. Additionally, it is imperative that any End Products developed by you diverge significantly from and not compete with the Software itself.

Warranties and Remedies

The Software is provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. In no event shall your remedies exceed the actual amount paid for the Software, with such reimbursement being the sole liability of Vue PDF Viewer under this Agreement.
